This new video is all about discovering broadway. Some of your favorite little one's stories may be a broadway musical adapted to film. We are learning about all of broadway musicals! In class the littles explored what makes musical theater and how everyone works together to create the magic.

O-M-G! Music in general, but definitely musical theater played such a major role in my childhood, thanks to my big sister. Though both our parents were involved in the music scene before & during raising us. Ellie dances to beats and rhythms now, it’s such a joy to watch. It was so difficult picking just a handful of songs, but here are just a few of our current listens! Hope you enjoy.

Kid Friendly Charcuterie
What You’ll Need:
black olives
baby carrots
mini cucumbers
watermelon stars
cantaloupe balls
All the berries! (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
green grapes
mini bell peppers
cubed assorted cheese
ham and turkey picks
(The wonderful thing about a charcuterie board is that you can really make it your own, take away or add as many fruits & veggies as you please! )
The How To (TIPS):
Make it colorful with lots of fresh summer fruits and vegetables for variety. I always shop seasonally and like add unique seasonal fruits from the farmers market.
Try and buy pre cut option, will save you so much time.
Make your platter colorful! It will be fun for you and for your guests visually as well.
Not only will your board be inviting to the eye with all those beautiful colors, it will make those sweet treats fun to eat if you use mini cookie cutters to make shapes in your fruit or cheeses.
Try and keep your ingredients easy to grab! (finger food)

Littles Reading List
This is our July reading list we are loving that goes with our broadway theme, growing up I had what I THOUGHT were all the “Olivia” books, (for obvious reasons) though this particular one is new to me, so it has been fun to now introduce my daughter to these books, just like my mom did with me.
