This is a simple yet, fun piano tutorial for you and your little ones. It'll be fun to explore the pentatonic scale which is essential to Chinese music. That means you use a five note scale. One would use only the black keys on the piano to compose a song. Try composing your own songs using only the black keys when you get a chance to hear this scale for yourself!

Dragon Dance Hand Puppet Craft
What You’ll Need:
Cardstock
Crayons (or your preferred color utensil)
Paper fasteners
Glue
Popsicle stick
Double sided sticker
Scissors
Dragon head template (or try to free hand!)
The How To:
Trace your kid’s handprints on colored cardstock and cut them out.
After you have made the handprints, cut out the same number of rectangles from card stocks.
Get a few paper fasteners to connect the rectangle pieces of cardstock together. For 5 handprints, you will need 4 paper fasteners. Start attaching the rectangle card stocks one by one using paper fasteners.
Stick the handprints one by one over the rectangle card stock.
Trace dragon face from template or free hand & cut out
Color in dragon face using utensil color of choice
Glue dragon face beside the last handprint. ( A small part of the dragon’s face will overlap the handprint)
Get two popsicle sticks and using double-sided tape or stickers, stick one popsicle stick behind the dragon’s face and the other one behind the third or fourth handprint.
Get that dragon a dancin!
